CESS is delighted to announce the shortlists for its two 2020 Book Awards.
CESS announced the winners of the 2018 Book Awards, Best Graduate Student Paper Award, and the Edward Allworth Lifetime Service to the Profession Award on October 26, 2018 at the CESS 19th Annual Conference held at the University of Pittsburgh.
CESS and the Harriman Institute of Columbia University, are delighted to announce the renaming of the CESS Lifetime Service to the Field Award in honor of the late scholar of Central Asia, Professor Edward Allworth (1920-2016).
CESS announces the shortlists for the 2018 Book Awards in both the social sciences and history and the humanities. For the first time, we are offering both awards in the same year.
Submissions for the Graduate Student Paper Award to be presented at the upcoming 2018 CESS Annual Conference are now being accepted from June 15 until August 15, 2018.
