Publications and Communications

Journals

The Central Eurasian Studies Society is involved in several areas of communications and publication activity.  There are three journals with which we have a relationship: Central Asian Survey, Central Asian Affairs, and the Central Eurasian Studies Review (CESR, a scholarly review of research, resources, events, publications and developments in scholarship and teaching on Central Eurasia that is no longer being published, but past issues are available on this site). Central Asian Survey and Central Asian Affairs are available to CESS members at reduced subscription rates.

CESS Blog and Social Media

Since 2013, CESS has run a Blog, providing a variety of articles of various kinds and in various mediums. For a full picture of the blog, visit the site directly.

If you'd like to contribute a guest post, or even to become a regular blogger.please contact the CESS Blog Editor, Morgan Y. Liu (liu.737@osu.edu) with your ideas.

CESS also has a Twitter presence, and on Facebook, we have a CESS Page where we post current announcements ("Like" it to keep up-to-date), and you can also join the CESS Facebook Group, where one can get a lot of information about all kinds of things happening in Central Eurasian studies.

CESS Website and Mailing Lists

The primary means by which we share information about what we do and other useful information for CESS Members are this Website (www.centraleurasia.org) and the Mailing List that you can join by becoming a CESS Basic Contact.  Indeed, in order to log in to some of the pages on this website you have to become a Basic Contact -- this can be accessed only by those who are not already logged in.  If you have already been a Member or a Basic Contact, but don't have your Username or Password, then you can go to the Member Center and use the "Forgot your Username?" or "Forgot your Password?" buttons to recover those.

For more information about CESS Mailing List options, please visit see the CESS Mailing Lists.

We are continually striving to improve the services that we provide to the Central Eurasian studies community worldwide.  If you would like to contribute to our efforts, or if you have suggestions, please contact us at info@centraleurasia.org.
